Mya's first pumpkin patch! She loved all of the Fall colors.
We even picked the perfect pumpkin for our house.....big enough so Emmie can't drag it around the yard. Sadly, that's how we lost our last few pumpkins. :)

5 months old!
Our baby is 5 months old already and it's such a fun age! She reacts to everything we do.
One of the funniest things she has done recently is recognize what her bottle means. Now if she sees it on the counter she'll reach out and start to grunt in complaint. One thing is for sure, she is like her Daddy when it comes to food. When she is hungry, we get less then ten seconds to get it ready before there is all out screaming. Patients = None. (for both of them!!) :)

Five Month Rundown:
- Sleep: Been waking up a few times a night. Most nights she is not hungry, she just wants to snuggle. Trying not to bring her in our bed to fall back to sleep (I sleep HORRIBLE when we do this) but sometimes I can barely sit upright in the rocking chair. It's starting to make me crazy. :)
- Teeth: 0 but maybe soon. She is drooling like crazy.
- Play: Loves to log roll (can only go one way) and reach for toys hanging in front of her. Also recently put her in her Jumparoo which she will play in for 15-20 minutes. Yay, free hands!
- Bumbo: Loves to sit and watch me fold laundry. Loves to be in the sitting position, but not ready to do it herself yet.
- Likes: Seeing Mom/Dad, snuggling before nap time, splashing in the bath, being outside!
- Dislikes: Changing clothes, waiting for her bottle to warm up.
- Weight: Somewhere between 15-16 pounds. (At the 4 month check, she weighted 14.6)

Grandpa's new tractor
This week we spent some time at the farm because Dad got a new John Deere Tractor. Dad, Grandpa Mastey, Gary, and Nate all took turns driving it around the yard. I'm certain the neighbors think they are crazy....
Dad showing Mya how to drive the tractor.

Zoo
Sunday we went to the N.E.W. Zoo with friends. We had an awesome day for walking around and checking out the animals. The weather was in the low 70's and mostly sunny with a little breeze. Just perfect. We even got to feed the giraffes, which is by far the coolest part of the zoo.
So excited to be here!!
14 feet tall! The worker said his dad was over 16 feet!!
Buds (and there was a cute little fawn behind them, but I guess it wandered out of the shot.)
Looking for the otters.
Love this picture. Gary and Kyle pushing the strollers while Ang and I walk behind. :)
Family picture just outside the Moose habitat.
Mya was checking out the parrots in the picture. They were flying around, talking, and making lots of noise. She found it very interesting.

And it begins....
....hunting season, that is.
This weekend marks the start of the madness. It's the bow opener and Gary, Dad, Nate, and Josh are like kids in a candy store... It's funny how the guys can get so excited about sitting in the woods. :)
Well hunting season means lot of time for Mya and I to bum around.
So first we took a quick cat nap....

And then we spent the afternoon by Great-Grandma and Grandpa Stepien.
We rode in the golf cart and picked raspberries in the garden; afterwards, Grandma, Mya, and I made dinner. EVERYTHING we ate was grown/raised by us, except the orange juice and salad dressing.
It was yummy!

Grandpa's Garden...
...is much different than Dad's.
We picked apples.
...and peaches
Who needs a grocery store when Grandpa has a crop like this?! This was the trunk of our car on the way home. Corn, tomatoes, onions, zucchini, apples, squash, eggplant, and even a few gourds and a pumpkin!

Packer Season
Sunday usually means football and this one was no different. Even though they didn't win, we still had fun watching with Reanna, Nate, Renee and Baby. We can't wait for more playmates to come along. :)
Farmer Joe
This one is from last weekend, but it's worth posting.
Mya, Gary, and Grandpa harvesting Gary's "garden." (which is really my 6 foot flower bed that he took over earlier this spring). Can you see those beautiful flowers? No? Me either.....
Tomatoes? check. Beans? check. Peppers? check.

Wild hair day!
This is one of my favorite outfits! The picture is from last week, but I love it!! Soon she won't fit into this sweet little dress but hopefully we can sneak it in a few more times!!
Grocery run with mom
Gary's up north this weekend so Mom and Mya are hanging out and running errands. The weather is starting to look icky so we're snuggling in with a cozy blanket and a movie....but first we need to run to the grocery store.

Just another Friday night....
Gary's doing the dishes and Mya's playing in her jumparoo.
I have to thank Jen for kind of being a nag. ;) Without her requests for pictures I wouldn't take half as many. :) :)

Labor Day
Saturday we ventured north for a couple of days of relaxing. This year we stayed with Gary's cousin and family on the lake. The weather was beautiful and Mya had a blast outside.
Hanging out in the bouncy chair looking at the lake....
Playing with some toys.......
.....and then she was exhausted. She slept for 2 hours like this. :)
