Old Friends = Good Times

I got to spend the weekend with one of my best.  We met at our old stomping grounds for a college friends wedding! Love that view. LaCrosse is so beautiful!

We even visited our old hang out.

Helping Great Grams cut some brush. Well, Gary did the work.  We just rode around on the golf cart! 

And we made sure to check Grandpa's bluebird boxes.

A weekend away.

Gary and I had a wedding this weekend out of town.  Our first double overnighter without Mya. 

We had so much fun celebrating with our good friends!

Busy as a bee

We had a fun little Saturday. 

We started the day with some cartoons. 

Then we rode bikes. (Waiving at the neighbors)

Time to make bubbles. 

Then we took Grandma to the airport. 

Even had a little time for cuddles with the pups.  

And while I was busy she wandered off by herself. I found her gardening. 

Water park fun.

My wonderful, sweet, little angel girl, who wouldn't go swimming all last year, who barely dipped her toes in Ann's pool this year, who screams at the top of her lungs when I have to wash her hair, who HATES taking a shower.....yes, that same little girl decided to go down this giant water slide with her Dad.  See her? At the very top waiving with a giant smile on her face?????

Oh look, she's happy about it. No tears, no crying. (exhaused sigh from mom)  I'm thinking it's time Dad takes over in the bathing department. 

Gary's sister Jenny and her family were in town for a softball game, so we visited them at the hotel for the evening.

And guess what. We've had several baths/showers since then and she cried at every single one. **sigh** 

Oh what a night.

So I walked into Mya's room the other day to wake her up for daycare and this is what I found.  

Bear on the floor, book tossed aside, hanging off the bed and hair all in disarray. Why wasn't I invited to the party?? Looks like it was a blast. 

One year apart

June 3rd and finally planted the garden.  I hope we get produce before November.
