Polka Days Weekend

This weekend was filled with polka fun. Thursday Gary and I got to visit with people we haven't seen in forever. We went to the grounds and had a great time talking and dancing.

Friday Gary bartended and I went out for Dad's birthday with  Mom, Dad, Becca, Grandma and pa Mastey, and Connie and Steve. We ate at The Hotel Seymour and it was amazing. That is, by far, my favorite place to eat, yummm!!

Saturday we invited a few of our friends over for dinner as a thank you for lending us some equipment when we were redoing our lawn and landscaping last fall. After dinner we went to Classics and watched MPH (the band that played at our wedding). After 16 years they decided to wrap things up as a band....they will be missed!

Sunday we hung out and relaxed at home. I took a few pictures of Emmie since she will be 10 weeks old tomorrow.  Doesn't she look so much bigger then when we brought her home?! And it's only been 3 weeks!

Long Weekend is catching up to Emmie

We're not the only ones who had a long weekend. Emmie got to spend some time on the farm playing with Callie and Deena. With all there is to investigate, she was pretty worn out when she got home!

Miller Park

This weekend was the annual family Brewer game. We headed to Milwaukee early to tailgate and hang out with family and friends.  The game was fun and even went into extra innings, but the Brewers couldn't pull it out in the end. The drive home was long, but worth the trip.

4th of July weekend

I love the 4th of July! This year, like several years before, we spent the 4th at the lake. The weather was so perfect that we grilled out, boated, and had played all weekend long. We weren't supposed to pick up Emmie until Sunday night, but Gary surprised me Friday after work and had her waiting at home. She did great the first few nights away from her litter mates, which was nice.
