'Twas a random night in November
.....and all through the house not a creature was stirring. Oh wait, Mya was stirring. In fact, she was jumping, hopping, climbing and bouncing....on everything......all night long.
Except bed time. Bed time is like heaven. It's quiet and we snuggle. And tonight we are reading a Christmas book. For the millionth time. Not joking. I can read it with my eyes closed, in the dark, with my head under a pillow. Which I of course have never done. Except last night. Last night I did that. Oh, and Sunday night. Ok, I do it all the time. Why does she always want the SAME book?!?

So I guess I'm a little behind on updates....
Mya is growing so fast, it's hard to believe.
Every single day she is doing something new.
Age: 1 1/2
Weight: 24.5 pounds
Height: short! Kidding, I don't remember what the measurement was!
Favorite Toy: Farm puzzle, Tupperware shapes puzzle, and books. Oh, how she loves her books.
New things she's saying: Please, Thank you, Oh wow, Yep, I don't know, Puzzle, Help, Grandpa (bumpa), Granny (nanee), Becca (buutah), Tractor, Brush (to brush her teeth), Cereal, Cracker, Cheese, Milk, Snack, and many more. (Most of these came from her sign language book. It amazes me how now she can say the word when previously she would only do the sign.)
New things she's doing: Helping me clean and wash the floor, having conversations on the phone, Climbing onto the furniture (testing her limits by standing on the kitchen chairs and waiting for me to tell her to sit down) and writing with a pencil.
Favorite foods: Macaroni, pizza, bananas, pears, strawberries, and avocados.
We love this age. She is so fun to hang out with. She loves to make us smile and laugh, gives us hugs and kisses when we're (pretend) crying, and slaps a high five when she does something good. Looking forward to the next few months before she turns terrible in her twos. :)
