We had a BIG weekend at the Karcz household. Mya made leaps and bounds with her development, all at once. My little "army crawler" got up on her knees (but not to crawl) only to get to a sitting position, then pull herself up to the coffee table, walk around the table, then let go and drop down to her butt.
Until now she would stand and walk but only if we stood her up there. She also never let go to get down by herself either. She would cry until we sat her down, or she would fall but cry when she hit her butt.
She also surprised me by wandering off alone this weekend. Normally, she follows me room to room as I clean and do laundry; however, this weekend I had to go look for her 3 separate times. One time she scooted all the way down the hallway and into my bedroom where she found a duffel bag under the bed very interesting. :) Nearly gave me a heart attack when I couldn't immediately find her.
We also found her standing in her crib Saturday after her morning nap! What a big girl we have. Time to lower the crib. :)
On to the pictures....
Another fun SUNNY day on the farm. Mya just LOVE, love, loves it outside. This picture makes me laugh. All I can think of is that scene from "A Christmas Story" when the mom dresses the little boy to go outside and he can't put his arms down because he's so bundled.
Gary's turn going for a ride
Mya watching Gary
Mya's turn for a ride....and she falls asleep.
Later in the evening, Grandma and Pa stopped over for dinner. Mya helped Grandma with the dishes.
